Supported by DeFi platform MANTRA DAO, the initiative invites both newcomers to NFT and seasoned collectors to explore this unique opportunity and purchase works of art made for global impact projects built around the The 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which include climate actions as well as social goals such as access to education and gender equality.
âWe want to show the world the power of NFTs for social and environmental impact by creating a win-win situation for artists, charities and our partners,â says Roy Weissbach, business development advisor at Arch Project and its parent company Carbon base. “The ImpactNFT exhibition highlights projects fusing art and technology to forever change the face of sustainability.”
The exhibition presents Impact NFTs from Sovereign Art Foundation, Earth.Org, and the Ark project Drop of Genesis, as good as SnarkySharkz and Purple penguin. Stunning works of art by Vintage mozart in support of the Nashulai Masai Conservancy in East Africa, and by DOT, an art collective featuring NFTs by eight Mexican charity artists.
“We are proud to present a selection of shortlisted artwork for the Sovereign Asian Art Prize 2021 in digital form,” said Tiffany Pierre Rose, executive director of the Sovereign Art Foundation. “For our first NFT project, it is an honor to exhibit alongside a multitude of important local and international charitable projects, and to harness this new artistic medium for a worthy cause.”
Each evening the exhibition will feature programs and conferences shed light on NFTs as an emerging technology at the intersection of code, community and conservation that can help society pave the way for carbon neutrality. For RSVP, sign up through October 11.
