Patrick Edgington MBE FRAgS FTS has been appointed the new president of the Waterfront Gallery at Milford Marina.
With a history in the region, Patrick will now be president of Wales’ only international art gallery, located in the oldest building in the marina.
Among other positions he has been chairman of Milford Haven School, founder of Puffin Produce, former governor of the National Museum of Wales, former chairman and founder of the Pembrokeshire Business Initiative and involved in many new and existing businesses in the county and the -of the.
In addition, his links to tourism include being the founder of the British Incoming Tour Operators Association and one of the founders of the Tourism Society of GB.
Patrick is a boater and a great art collector in his spare time.
Patrick said: “It is an honor and a privilege to be associated with this wonderful place and to be able to continue the remarkable work of our past president, Bob Clarke.
“It is such a gem, with stunning exhibits including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, precious metals and other materials among the works of art. It is a landmark for Milford Haven Marina. , where it is so superbly located and attracts visitors from far and wide. ”
Meanwhile, the director and creator of the Waterfront Gallery, David Randell, recently launched an exhibition featuring well-known artist and poet Bob Reeves.
The exhibition was opened by Secretary of State for Wales, MP Simon Hart, and followed by a visit by MP Stephen Crabb and his wife Béatrice Monnier.
