The Coral Springs Museum of Art is “entering” the new year with new courses and activities.
The museum has announced that registrations for its winter-spring art classes are now open for two seasonal sessions.
Session I lasts from January 20 to March 5. Session II lasts from March 28 to May 7.
Classes include ceramics, drawing, painting, mixed media, mixed design, printmaking, dressmaking, and photography. For the first time, the museum will offer courses in interior design, fashion illustration and figure drawing.
In addition to catering to multiple areas of interest, the museum offers classes to residents of all ages.
Children as young as 18 months and up to five years old can participate in a variety of preschool programs including Escort Your Artist, Lil Clay Makers, and JumpstART.
Elementary-age residents and tweens can participate in mixed media, dressmaking, ceramics and more. Residents 16 years of age and older can participate in oil painting, watercolor, and portrait classes, among others. According to the museum’s website, their educational programs allow everyone to learn something new while having fun, regardless of their age or skill level.
They offer classes during the day, at night and on weekends to give all residents a chance to participate.
Masks are mandatory and hand sanitizer will be available.
