The Rockmart Cultural Arts Center invites anyone interested in the arts to visit an upcoming exhibit hosted by the Douglas County Tourism and History Commission, featuring Indigenous-inspired art by member Nikki Davidson by RCAC.
The exhibit is titled Indigenous: Honoring Douglas County’s Native American Heritage and will feature some of Davidson’s previous paintings as well as other local Native American heritage crafts and artifacts.
Davidson previously hosted a solo art exhibit presented by the RCAC in 2018, where she created some of the paintings guests will see at the exhibit.
This fall’s art exhibit is scheduled to open on Friday, September 17 at the Douglasville Museum in Douglasville, Georgia. See the contact details and contact details of the museum below.
Visitors are encouraged to attend until the Museum closes at 5 p.m.
The reception for Davidson’s event is scheduled for Saturday, September 18 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., presented prior to the RCAC reception for Ginger Lowry: Art of the Horse reception, which will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
