The official call for nominations is available online for the 47th Annual UW Student Jury Exhibition at the University of Wyoming.
The exhibition is open to any student registered at UW during the current academic year. The exhibition is also open to any state student enrolled in UW distance learning courses. UW students on and off campus are encouraged to submit their works for review.
Students have until Sunday, January 9 to submit up to three original works of art for review at https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=9589. The exhibition will be on display at the UW Art Museum from February 19 to May 14, 2022, with an opening reception and awards ceremony on Friday, February 18 at 6 p.m.
Scholarships and purchase prizes are available for accepted students. Prices will be announced at 6.30 p.m. during the exhibition opening reception.
Original works of art can include paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculpture, graphics, ceramics, and mixed media. Students can choose to allow archiving of images of their selected works through the UW Libraries online repository.
Each year, a juror for the exhibit is chosen outside of Wyoming. This year’s juror is Natalia Ãngeles Vieyra, Maher Curatorial of American Art member at Harvard Art Museums. She specializes in the art and material culture of the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

The UW Art Museum exhibits, preserves and interprets visual culture from around the world to engage academic, local, state, national and global communities. The museum is located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 E. Willett Drive in Laramie. Hours of operation are Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday hours are extended until 7 p.m. Free entry.
